DreamExchange, a mobile communications company, will launch a project in December to train international students from scratch to become cutting-edge bilingual engineers

DreamExchange, Inc. (Head office: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Nobuyuki Takiguchi) announced today that it will start a project in December to provide free education to foreign students studying in Japan to become engineers. Then, we plan on hiring them for its own projects, and introduce them to small and medium-sized companies that are suffering from a shortage of engineers.
DreamExchange is engaged in the construction, operation, and development of mobile communication systems, and because we have many business connections with foreign companies, we also have many foreign employees.

According to the DX White Paper 2021, nearly 80% of companies are aware of the shortage of digital-related human resources.
However, with the increase in the number of companies working on DX, it is expected to be even more difficult to secure human resources in the future. For small and medium-sized companies, securing human resources to promote DX is an essential part of improving productivity, but the ratio of job openings for engineers is extremely high, and securing human resources is not easy.
In addition, the most up-to-date information on DX is published in English, making it difficult for Japanese people who are not fluent in English to learn the latest information.
In order to overcome this situation, DreamExchange aims to contribute to small and medium-sized companies that are suffering from the shortage of engineers and the promotion of DX by providing education to foreign students in Japan.

Technical education provided to international students

DreamExchange provides E-learning and classroom training on no- and low-code technologies and network technologies that are attracting attention overseas, in cooperation with the NoCode and LowCode development companies.
Since the teaching materials are mainly in English, the offer targets international students, who can speak English, but in the near future we are planning on developing Japanese teaching materials so that they can support Japanese people in changing their careers.

What is DreamExchange?

DreamExchange specializes in system construction, operation, and development for mobile communications and has business relationships with the top foreign telecommunication companies in the world.
A lot of the staff members have been involved in the mobile communications business since the early days of mobile communications in Japan, and they are actively recruiting foreign employees to support many projects for foreign telecom manufacturers and telecom companies.
DreamExchange would like to use its experience and international network to help secure human resource to support the promotion of DX, which small and medium-sized enterprises are lagging behind in.
